Each piece of art is a creative journey. I gather experiences, books, songs, and memories, and bring them into my studio where I take them apart and put them back together, creating paintings that invite viewers to explore new realms of joy and imagination. My vibrant works are a celebration of each small world I discover, encouraging you to step outside your comfort zone and embrace the unknown. Artist Bio:

Kara Lund  is a contemporary expressionist artist based in the midwestern USA . After a childhood immersed in music and an early adulthood exploring literature, she discovered painting. Her current studio practice explores visual composition, color, and mark making. Kara’s work is characterized by vibrant hues and playful compositions that evoke a sense of joy and curiosity. Inspired by nature and childhood memories, she aims to create immersive experiences that invite viewers to discover the energy of each brushstroke and the feeling evoked by the interplay of colors.

Kara is an active member of the local art community, frequently collaborating with other artists and engaging in workshops to inspire creativity in others. Through her art, she hopes to encourage a sense of wonder and curiosity in everyday life.
